CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Chongqing Meteorological Observatory issued the orange-coded heat alert on July 3, 2013. The temperature in quite a few districts and counties overtopped 37 degrees Celsius and the maximum reached nearly 39 degrees Celsius. But severe rainfall will be seen throughout Chongqing from the evening of July 3 to the daytime of July 6. Most areas will witness moderate to heavy rain, some areas, even torrential rain.
