With National Day holiday fast approaching, The Chongqing Tourism Administration has published their tour guide, marking where to go for colorful autumn leaves.

Wushan –

Wushan Little Three Gorges, Longmen Gorge, Bawu Gorge and Dicui Gorge (with an entire length of 60km) within Wushan, and downstream of Daning River which flows through these three gorges, the red autumn leaves in Wushan are the most characterized in the Yangtze Three Gorges region, as the endures longest .

Wushan County also holds the Annual International Red Leaf Festival every November. Visitors will have a better chance to experience the unique scenery and culture by admiring the red autumn leaves on both banks from amid the beautiful scenerey.

Chengkou –

Chengkou is a county of rich tourist resources in Chongqing.

Fengjie –

The current sunny days will be the best season for sightseeing in Kuimen in Fengjie.

Since the Three Gorges Project completed the 175m water impounding, the water level of the Yangtze River in Fengjie section has been rising, widening the river surface. Qutang Gorge, decorated by red autumn leaves and boats coming to and fro, is as beautiful as a landscaped gallery.

Nanchuan Jinfo Mountains –
